IIn the year 2000, Late Ramesh Acharya achieved a remarkable milestone by launching Padubidri’s first air-conditioned jewelry showroom. With a visionary goal to create an exclusive showroom for a premium local jewelry shopping experience, this pioneering move transformed the way customers experienced jewelry retail in the region.

The showroom featured:

Preserving Legacy Through Generations

After the passing of Saraf P. Ramesh Acharya, his legacy was gracefully continued by his two sons. With a shared passion and a deep respect for their father’s values, they undertook a major renovation project, and in 2021, the new avatar of Durga Prasad Jewellers was unveiled.
